rust Nice Arts are experienced in specialist and decorative paint effects. We can re-create the vast array of diverse finishes and textures for interiors and furniture with materials, techniques and effects to meet the needs of successive periods and styles.

Our expertise ranges from colour washing, ragging, sponging and frottage through to stencilling, distressing, craquelure, wood graining, stone effects, leather effects, marbling, semi-precious stones, faux finishes and gilding.

 

Theatre, Film & Television

Nice Arts have worked as scenic artists, set painters and costume painters on various theatre, film and television productions, including: ‘Mysti’; ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’; ‘The Lion King’, (Lyceum Theatre); ‘South Pacific’, (National Theatre); ‘The Rape of Lucretia’, (ENO); ‘The King and I’, (London Palladium); ‘Vincent in Brixton’, (National Theatre); ‘Grease’, (Cambridge Theatre); ‘La Cava’, (Apollo Victoria); ‘Private Lives’, (Albery Theatre), and a succession of pantomimes, including: ‘Alladin’, (Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham); ‘Mother Goose’, (Glasgow); ‘Peter Pan’, (Strand Theatre) and ‘Peter Pan’, (Chicken Shed Theatre).

Film and television includes: ’28 Days Later’; ‘Spivs’; ‘Worst Witch’; ‘Wyrd Sister’; ‘Dirty Work’; ‘King Arthur’ and ‘A Knight’s Tale’.
